If you find that the foil seal is raised even slightly, place the bottle in the fridge until you observe that the pressure has subsided. If you are unable to use a cooling method, use a cover like a rag and point away from your face to prevent any risk whilst breaking the seal. Always keep the fragrance bottles, whether sealed or unsealed, securely tightened and in a dark, cool place away from direct sunlight or other sources of heat.

Care must be taken when handling fragrance oils; they may damage or discolour surfaces. We recommend mixing in containers we provide as some plastic containers will react with the materials.

Take care to accurately follow instructions when adding fragrance as if the wax is too hot, the fragrance oil can vaporise, which can reduce your scent throw and in some circumstances lead to ignition. Please ensure you store your bottles in a cabinet, container or box to protect them from all light sources in a room that is kept cool and dry.

Please also keep them away from children and do not ingest them. The information available for fragrance safety and pregnancy is inconclusive. Testing on fragrances is limited to skin sensitivity only.

I may have made a mistake buying large 8oz bottles of essential oils that I have not used yet and also I have leftover essential oils for holiday soaps that I have already made that I probably won't use again till next year.
